Alloy 675 Manganese Bronze

Sequoia Brass & Copper sells alloy 675 manganese bronze. Basically a tin bronze, manganese is added to serve as a deoxidizer. Its principal characteristics are high strength, toughness and excellent resistance to corrosion. This alloy has important marine applications such as propellers, rudders and non-magnetic mountings.

This product is available in rod and shapes forms with all orders customized to your specifications. 675 manganese bronze can be exposed to dry gases and sulfides without being affected and has fair to excellent corrosion resistance. 675 manganese bronze has an excellent capacity to be hot formed and common fabrication processes are hot forging and pressing, hot heading and upsetting.
